THE 20th IBERIAN COMPETITION FOR PLADUR BUILDING SOLUTIONS AWARD 2010 has been decided. The members of the jury, José Luis Luque Blanco, Sara Hernandez Velasco and Ruth Clemente Vega, all of them professors at the IE School of Architecture, and M ª del Carmen García Terron, representative of YESOS IBERICOS.SA, decided to award the First Local Prize to the entry titled TEJEMANEJE, by Adriana Lorenzo Esteban and Daniel Martínez Sebastián.

A First Runner-up Prize was awarded to the proposal titled [ESPACIOS MUTANTES] = ESPACIOS FLEXIBLES by Marta Montero Mariñas and Sergio Alonso Rico, and a second Runner-up Prize was awarded to the entry titled REMAKE, by Miguel Rivilla Jiménez and Fernando Garvi Gutierrez. 

The winner (First Prize Local) Iberian is eligible for the Iberian Award. Both, the First Prize and the First and Second Runner-ups are eligible for the Manufacturers Special Prize. The Competition Winner will be announced on May 28.

El pasado viernes 28 de noviembre, la profesora de la IE School of Architecture Sara Hernández Velasco obtuvo el Diploma de Estudios Avanzados (DEA) en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid. La profesora Hernández desarrolla un trabajo de investigación sobre la figura del arquitecto Amós Salvador Carreras, tutelado por Javier García-Gutiérrez Mosteiro en el Departamento de Ideación Gráfica Arquitectónica de la ETSAM.
