IE University and Indra have combined their innovative nature, knowledge and experience in business management and human resources, along with the search for executive excellence and professional leadership, to launch the first “Observatory for obtaining and analysing the profiles and professional careers of the presidents and CEOs of leading companies of reference.” The dean of IE University, Francisco Mata, and Indra’s Director of University Relations, Carlos Fernández, signed the agreement for creating the Observatory today, 18 May, at the Segovia Campus. This agreement will create a joint team for observing and analysing the skill set associated to this group. 

The objectives of the Observatory, which will be located in the Casa de Moneda cultural building in Segovia, are to analyse and study the professional career of presidents and CEOs at large companies, to list the various professional milestones that must be reached, and to help define the ideal profiles of the future presidents and chairmen of organisations as well as the members of their teams. 

To do so, research based on analysing existing business leaders and studying leading national and international companies will be carried out. It will also be attempted to answer questions such as: What can the president of a company achieve? How is a company managed in the 21st century? The Prince of Wales, President of the Youth Business International Foundation, met with young entrepreneurs and senior executives at IE in a workshop debate on entrepreneurialism.

Prince Charles visited IE Business School this morning to meet with young entrepreneurs and senior executives in the Youth Entrepreneurship Seminar, a workshop focused on the challenges facing entrepreneurialism. The seminar was organized by IE and Youth Business International (YBI), a UK foundation presided by the Prince of Wales. The Prince was received by Diego del Alcázar, President of IE Business School, Santiago Iñiguez de Onzoño, Dean of IE, and Juan José Güemes, President of IE Business School’s International Center for Entrepreneurial Management. 

As a world leader in the field of entrepreneurship, IE Business School organized the Youth Entrepreneurship Seminar to explore the current status of entrepreneurship in global terms, including the challenges facing entrepreneurs, the problems they face, and the impact of public policies. During the event, Juan José Güemes presented the main findings of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) report, a survey of entrepreneurial activity carried out in 59 countries worldwide, the Spanish edition of which is coordinated by IE Business School. Prince Charles is to visit IE Business School on April 1 in his capacity as President of Youth Business International (YBI). The private visit will include a meeting with Spanish entrepreneurs and business leaders to promote entrepreneurialism among young people. During his visit to Spain, The Prince of Wales will also be meeting IE’s young entrepreneurs in an event presided by Diego del Alcázar, Santiago Íñiguez de Onzoño and Juan José Güemes, accompanied by Andrew Devenport, CEO of the YBI.

El Príncipe Carlos, como presidente de Youth Business International (YBI), visitará IE Business School  este viernes 1 de abril en un encuentro privado donde se reunirá con emprendedores y empresarios españoles para fomentar el emprendedurismo entre la juventud.  Durante su visita a España,  SAR el  Príncipe de  Gales tendrá la posibilidad de conocer a jóvenes emprendedores de IE. Dicho  encuentro, que estará presidido por Diego del Alcázar, Santiago Íñiguez de Onzoño y Juan José Güemes, contará además  con la presencia de Andrew Devenport, CEO de YBI, entre otros.
