We would like to inform you that, as of today Thursday 22^nd of September, we have 50 tickets available for the exclusive use of IE University students to attend the following event from the Hay Festival:   a  conversation between Juan Ignacio Gallardo, Co-Director for MARCA, David Bach, Professor of Strategic Management at IE Business School and Spanish national trainer Vicente del Bosque.   The roundtable will take place this coming Saturday the 24^th of September at 21:30 in the old church of San Juan de los Caballeros. 

Don’t miss this opportunity!   The tickets are available in the Student Office with Nicky Sharp.   Act fast to pick these up before they run out. 

Vicente del Bosque will share his thoughts on the keys of leadership and team play that made ‘la Roja’ a world-wide sports symbol and will finish by giving one of his favorite lectures to those in attendance.   “Vicente del Bosque is the Steve Jobs of football, the leader and brains of the most innovative team and, as a result, the most successful in the world.   There’s much we can learn from him regarding sports, handling business, and leadership in general.”  commented David Bach,  Professor of IE Business School.

Os informamos de que, a partir de hoy jueves 22 de septiembre, están disponibles 50 entradas para alumnos de IE University para que puedan asistir al siguiente evento de Hay Festival : Conversación entre Juan Ignacio Gallardo, Director Adjunto de MARCA, y David Bach, Profesor de Dirección Estratégica de IE Business School, con el entrenador nacional Vicente del Bosque. El acto tendrá lugar el sábado 24 de septiembre, a partir de las 21,30 horas, en la antigua iglesia de San Juan de los Caballeros.  

No pierdas la oportunidad! Las entradas están disponibles en la Oficina del Alumno, despacho de Nicky Sharp. Se uno de los primeros en conseguirlas antes de que se agoten. 

Vicente del Bosque compartirá las claves de liderazgo y de juego en equipo que hicieron de la Roja un referente mundial y terminará compartiendo una de sus lecturas favoritas con los asistentes. “Vicente del Bosque es el Steve Jobs del fútbol, el líder y cerebro del equipo más innovador y por lo tanto más exitoso del mundo. Hay mucho que podemos aprender de él, para el deporte, los negocios y liderazgo en general”, comenta David Bach, Profesor de IE Business School.

The Opening Ceremony of the International MBA program April 2011 intake, took place yesterday in Segovia at IE’s University Campus. Over 250 students from more than 75 nationalities had the opportunity to network during this event. Entrepreneurship was one of the key topics discussed. 

La Ceremonia de Apertura de la clase de abril 2011 del programa International MBA tuvo lugar ayer en Segovia, donde se encuentra el Campus de la Universidad de IE. Más de 250 estudiantes de alrededor de 75 países, tuvieron la oportunidad de hacer networking durante este evento. Gestión emprendedora fue uno de los temas principales.

Paintball – Saturday 26th March – 15€ (including 200 paintballs each)

We invite all IE University students to take part in a Paintball activity on Saturday 26th March. The bus will leave from outside the residence building on campus at 10:30 and we expect to arrive back in Segovia at approximately 14:00. There are a limited number of places available and we therefore recommend that you reserve your place as soon as possible. The price is 15€ per person. To reserve your place you should make the payment before the 22nd March, via cash or credit card at the Administration office on the second floor. La actividad tendrá lugar el sábado 26 de marzo. El traslado se llevará a cabo en un autobús de IE University que tendrá su punto de recogida en la puerta principal de la Residencia de la Universidad a las 10:30 y esperamos a volver a Segovia a las 14:00. Las plazas son limitadas por lo que te recomendamos que hagas tu reserva cuanto antes.

El precio de la actividad es de 15 €. Para reservar tu plaza debes hacer el pago antes del día 22 de marzo en efectivo o con tarjeta de crédito en el Departamento de Administración situado en la segunda planta.
