IE University and Indra have combined their innovative nature, knowledge and experience in business management and human resources, along with the search for executive excellence and professional leadership, to launch the first “Observatory for obtaining and analysing the profiles and professional careers of the presidents and CEOs of leading companies of reference.” The dean of IE University, Francisco Mata, and Indra’s Director of University Relations, Carlos Fernández, signed the agreement for creating the Observatory today, 18 May, at the Segovia Campus. This agreement will create a joint team for observing and analysing the skill set associated to this group.
The objectives of the Observatory, which will be located in the Casa de Moneda cultural building in Segovia, are to analyse and study the professional career of presidents and CEOs at large companies, to list the various professional milestones that must be reached, and to help define the ideal profiles of the future presidents and chairmen of organisations as well as the members of their teams.
To do so, research based on analysing existing business leaders and studying leading national and international companies will be carried out. It will also be attempted to answer questions such as: What can the president of a company achieve? How is a company managed in the 21st century?
