IE Library:

IE Library has become full member of LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries) , the main network for research libraries in Europe.

LIBER comprises more than 400 national, university and other libraries from more than 40 countries. LIBER’s network is not restricted to the area of the European Union and the participation of European research libraries outside the European Union is widely encouraged. 

As a member, IE Library aims are to contribute with our work, knowledge and experience, with the main areas of LIBER strategic plan:

1. Scholarly Communication & Research Infrastructures
2. Reshaping the research library
3. Advocacy and Communications

La Biblioteca IE es miembro de LIBER

La Biblioteca IE, ha entrado a formar parte de LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche – Association of European Research Libraries) , red principal de bibliotecas de investigación en Europa.

LIBER comprende más de 400 bibliotecas nacionales, universitarias y de otra índole, de más de 40 países. La red de trabajo de LIBER no está restringida solo a la Unión Europea, la participación de bibliotecas de investigación europea de fuera de la UE se encuentra extensamente promovido. 

Como miembro, el objetivo de la Biblioteca IE es el de contribuir con nuestro trabajo, conocimiento y experiencia, con las principales áreas del plan estratégico de LIBER:

Gracias a nuestro nuevo Sistema Integrado de Gestión Bibliotecario, el boletín de novedades ha sido mejorado, les invitamos a descubrir todas las novedades, que serán actualizadas cada mes:

The opening hours of IE Library in Segovia Campus during Summer 2012 will be following: 

Until July 24, from Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm 

From July 25 to July 31, from 9am to 5pm 

IE Library will remained closed from August 1 to 31, both included. However, online service will be provided through biblioteca.universidad@ie.edu and electronic material is still available on our web site: http://library.ie.edu. We remind you that for this period, we have raised the number of items to be borrowed to 12. 

From September 3, the opening hours will be as usual. 

In order for all students to be able to benefit from all of the existing library materials (by loan, renewal or reserve), we would like to ask for the students to return all borrowed materials by their due date.

Biblioteca IE – Servicio durante verano de 2012 en Campus de Segovia

El horario de apertura de la Biblioteca IE en campus de Segovia durante el verano 2012 será siguiente: 

Hasta el 24 de Julio de lunes a viernes de 9:00 a 21:00 

Desde 25 de Julio hasta el 31 de Julio, de 9:00 a 17:00 

La Biblioteca IE permanecerá cerrada del 1 al 31 de agosto, ambos incluidos. No obstante, la biblioteca seguirá dando servicio online a través de biblioteca.universidad@ie.edu y pueden seguir accediendo a nuestro fondo electrónico en remoto a través de nuestro sitio web: http://library.ie.edu. Les recordamos que durante este periodo el número de documentos que pueden llevarse en préstamo domiciliario se eleva a 12. 

Desde el 3 de septiembre el horario será el habitual. 

Les rogamos que, con el objetivo de que todos los estudiantes se puedan beneficiar de los documentos existentes en la biblioteca a través del servicio de circulación (préstamo, renovación y reserva), se devuelvan los libros cuyo período de préstamo ya haya concluido.

IE Library (Madrid Campus) has new Ipads and tablets available for users as “room material”. It is a new service whereby users can access resources and search information through the loan of this type of device within the library.

There are two model of tablets, Acer Iconia Tab w500 and Fujitsu Stylistic q550, both models with  office pack installed, and Wireless printing program.

Nuevos Ipads y tablets disponibles en Biblioteca IE (campus de Madrid)

La Biblioteca IE (campus de Madrid) cuenta con nuevos Ipads y tablets disponibles en sala al servicio de los usuarios. Se trata de un nuevo servicio mediante el cual los usuarios pueden consultar recursos y buscar información a través del préstamo de este tipo de dispositivo dentro de la biblioteca. 

De las tablets, disponemos de Acer Iconia Tab w500 y Fujitsu Stylistic q550, ambos modelos cuentan con el pack Office y programa de impresión Wifi.
