IE Library participates in the 81st General Conference and Assembly of IFLA in Cape Town, South Africa

The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) held its 81st General Conference and Assembly meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, and IE Library were there as it belongs to the Standing Committees of both the IFLA America Latina and Caribbean and the IFLA Management and Marketing Sections.

This year’s topic was “Dymanic Libraries : Access, development and transformation”, and it was full of very deep, interesting and revealing lectures about the libraries, the new outcomes they must achieve and how to improve the way they get to the public they serve.

We would also like to announce that IE Library will be very happy to hold the midterm meeting of the Management and Marketing section from the 10th till the 13th of February next year. We will keep you updated!

IE Library staff wants to congratulate our colleague Henar Silvestre, as during this meeting of one of the most important associations on its field, was elected as the new Information Coordinator & Jury member of the prize.
