JUDGES´COMMENTS BELOW:

Dear all,

Thank you for your participation in the Venice Photography Competition. We found very interesting pictures and insightful views of the trip we made back in November, as you may have seen pinned up in the corridor. It was a good way of remembering such a nice trip. The components of the jury were David Goodman, Anna Pla, Laura Martínez de Guereñu and Anna Mestre, and the deliberation took place last Monday. Remember there were two categories: Venice and the Biennale. Coming up with just one winner was nearly impossible, so we felt entitled to announce a winner and also honorable mention. There are two books waiting for the winners of the 2 categories, Venice and the Biennale, at the secretaries’ office. One is on Thomas Heatherwick’s work and the other on BIG Bjarke Ingels Group’s work. Winners can feel free to go and fetch them!

The final result is as follows:

VENICE category:

WINNER – Los guardianes de Venecia

HONORABLE MENTION – Untitled

BIENNALE category:

WINNER –  Switzerland Pavilion

HONORABLE MENTION – Lightness

Congratulations and thank you for your participation.

Have a great break and Merry Christmas!!

Anna, Francesca, Laura
