IE University Launches its degree in Spanish Law in Madrid

• The degree is commited to innovation in order to educate lawyers for the Spanish market who have an international vision and orientation
• The private university will present its new scholarships sponsored by the law offices Uria Menendez, Pérez-Llorca and Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira
• The event was attended by the Attorney General Eduardo Torres-Dulce and representatives from the sponsoring law offices. 

IE University presented his law degree in Spanish, to be conducted in Segovia and Madrid starting next academic year. At a ceremony attended by the Attorney General Eduardo Torres-Dulce, who stressed that “the excellence and future elites are born of university education. ” IE Law School, also unveiled its new scholarships for this program sponsored by three law firms: “Grant Rodrigo Uria, Advocacy and Humanities”, “Pérez-Llorca Scholarship for excellence in the practice of Law “, and” Grant Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira for innovative advocacy. “ 

For the presentation of the degree in Madrid, IE University organized a panel discussion titled “The modernization of justice”, which was also attended by Eduardo Torres-Dulce, IE Law School Dean Jose M. De Areilza, the principal of the degree in Law at IE University Soledad Atienza, Salvador Sánchez-Terán, partner at Uria Menendez, the managing partner of Pedro Pérez-Llorca and Federico Roig, partner at Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira. 

The Law Degree at IE University, taught two years on the campus of Segovia and two years in Madrid, will educate lawyers with an international orientation that can work with corporate clients, organizations and governments, implementing effective remedies in a global environment. It is a program designed to prepare lawyers to practice and has the subject of law that strengthens the practical component of the training. Students will learn to work and think as lawyers from the first year and will attend some courses in English gradually from the first course. 

IE University began the academic year 2011/2012 with the launch of a completely new Law degree taught in English and fully on the campus of Segovia. For the next academic year, IE University in Madrid will also extend its offers with a double degree in Business Administration and Law.
