IE Business School holds the No. 13 position worldwide in executive education programs in the 2010 Financial Times ranking. These results further consolidate IE Business School as an international reference in the field of executive education programs, in terms of both open programs and customized programs tailored to meet the different needs of specific firms. In the customized programs category IE Business School has climbed 10 places from No. 28 to the No. 18 slot. 

The FT Executive Education ranking uses different parameters to analyze the quality of executive education programs. Criteria include the degree of satisfaction of participants with regard to the preparation and design of the courses, the quality of faculty, the international content of programs, the student body profile, the development of management skills, and fulfilment of expectations. The authors of the ranking contrasted the opinion of participants and client firms for both open and customized programs. 

The conclusions of the FT ranking follow on the success achieved by IE in the latest MBA rankings by Wall Street Journal (No. 1 worldwide), Financial Times (3rd in Europe, No. 6 worldwide) and Forbes (No. 3 worldwide). BusinessWeek’s executive education ranking placed IE Business School No. 1 in Europe and 6th worldwide, while América Economia placed IE 7th worldwide. 

IE Business School, 13ª del mundo en formación ejecutiva según Financial Times

IE Business School ocupa  la 13ª posición del mundo en formación directiva en el ranking 2010 de Executive Education de Financial Times. Este resultado consolida a IE Business School como referente internacional en formación ejecutiva, tanto en programas abiertos como en cursos in-company diseñados ad-hoc para empresas. En esta última categoría, IE Business School ha escalado 10 posiciones, pasando de ocupar el puesto 28º al 18º del mundo. 

El ranking de Executive Education de Financial Times analiza distintos indicadores de calidad de los programas para directivos. Entre ellos, evalúa el grado de satisfacción de los participantes respecto a la preparación y el diseño de los cursos, la calidad del claustro de profesores, el enfoque internacional de los programas, el perfil del alumnado, el desarrollo de habilidades de dirección, el cumplimiento de expectativas, etc. Tanto en el análisis de los programas abiertos, como en el de la formación in-company, los autores analizan la opinión de participantes y empresas clientes. 

Este ranking refuerza los resultados que ha obtenido IE en los últimos rankings de programas MBA de Wall Street Journal (1º del mundo), Financial Times (3ª de Europa, 6ª del mundo) o Forbes (3º del mundo). Y en los rankings de executive education de Business Week (1ª de Europa, 6ª del mundo), o América Economía (7ª del mundo).
